We have a new Hooded sweatshirt....it is red and has a two color word CHANEL arched on the front with the students graduation year below it in an oval. CHANEL 2013, CHANEL 2012, CHANEL 2011, CHANEL 2010.....we even have 2014 for those 8th graders who are excited to come on board next year!
We also have open bottom sweatpants in grey or black. They have the word CHANEL down the left leg.
We have lanyards in red with white print for only $5.00
We also will have gym bags (cinch sacks) arriving soon.
We offer rigorous programs in weight training and conditioning and top-notch coaching. We also offer student athletes the chance to be the best. Our athletes have the chance to win championships, to take trips to places like Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky & New York for training and competition, and to earn college athletic scholarships to places like OSU, Columbia, Western Kentucky, CSU, Ashland, Bucknell, Long Beach State, University of Louisville, University of Akron, and others! NCAA Eligibility Center
All students who plan to enroll in a Division I or Division II college and want to participate in athletics or receive an athletic scholarship must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
You may register on-line at www.eligibilitycenter.org, click on spring 2010, then click on new account, and follow the prompts. You will need a credit card and its expiration date, because there is a $60 fee to register.
You will also need your social security number, the high school code (360368), your high school graduation date (6/1/10).
You will need to notify the guidance office after you have registered and fill out a transcript request form in order for your official transcript to be sent to the Eligibility Center.
If you have any questions, see Mrs. Holly-Brown in the guidance office.

Due to a scheduling conflict with the Wrestling program and the Boys Basketball Team advancing to the State Regional Tournament, we are rescheduling the Winter Sports Banquet. The banquet will be held at Chanel in the cafeteria on Sunday, March 28th at 4pm. Although it is Palm Sunday this is the best date for all concerned.

To that end, the menu (and the assignments) for the event are as follows:
a. fried chicken, sub sandwiches, spaghetti and pizza (girls and boys basketball parents)
b. pasta salad, potato and or macaroni salad (wrestling parents)
c. desert (bowling and cheerleaders parents)
Please prepare a dish that would feed twenty (20) people. Should you have any questions, please contact your Parent Liaison for your team or Lydia Kirkland at (216) 780-0483. Next week, a follow up memo will be given to each winter sport athlete to give to his/her parent as well.
Thanks for your patience and continued support of Chanel and our student athletes. I look forward to seeing you at the banquet.
GO BIRDS!
